Being famous in the art world would be the best situation because you'd be a celebrity in every major city on earth but even there only to a certain high-level element. To the rest of humanity you could pass around unnoticed. Working in avante-garde films would make for a terrific kind of celebrityhood. Like Joe Dallesandro.

I would think disadvantages.
You get followed all the time, with people constantly taking your picture, you get retarded rumors spread about you, can't go anywhere without being chased, the whole world knows when you're going through a break up & then spread more rumors about you...I wouldn't wanna be famous, sure I'd have lots of money, but I love my privacy..

I think there are more advantages, but later this "big advantages", turn into disatvantages. (like in the case of B.Spears or L.Lohan).
