I want to be in the Disney Channel (preferrably)

No, no, no! Disney channel has many more experienced professionals than you waiting for a chance to be on one of their shows or in one of their movies. Your resume would not be impressive to them. Keep performing!

It will be fine for a while, but later on the pros wont care about your non-pro work. Only big stars get to pick the kind of roles they get. Beginners have to take whatever they are offerred.
Unless you are in LA, forget about Disney.

It's great that you're in plays at your school and at a college, but DC is looking for pros. Try getting an agent and headshots and getting some professional credits (paying jobs) before you try out for Disney. Best of luck.

I'm not an expert on the subject, but I certainly can't see it hurting anything. I mean you must be pretty good if your already performing on a college level.
