about 7 or 8 I believe. I started off with a Sega Game Gear handheld and a Sega Genesis when I was 4 - 7, never got a Nintendo or Super Nintendo (though I played an SNES at my friend's house/day care), and got a Nintendo64 with Super Mario64 for Christmas in 1997 or 1996. best video game system ever, I still think to this day.

Thats going back! In the late 90's, I can remember was that my Uncle once asked me if I wanted his SNES (Super Nintendo) and my mum paid £10 for it for me. With them being sister and brother, I would have thought he could have passed it down! But it was a bargain looking back, because Super Mario World was such an amazing game, possibly the best.

I've been on ebay, and my Super Mario Allstars pack is worth quite a bit, so now I've got my Wii, its staying in the loft for a bit!

I can also remember my first 'shop' bought game was the Nintendo 64 package with Mario 64, in the mid 90's. I was in Toy's r us and they had an offer on for both the Goldeneye and Mario 64 packages. With my b'day coming up, it was perfect, and with some persuasion, my mum gave in to buying the Mario 64 pack. Compared to the Playstation, it was just un-real! To this day, I think the SNES and N64 remain my fave consoles because the games were just so fun. More expensive than Playstation ones, with no way to copy them, but you got what you paid for, and for me, coming home after school and having a new game ready was such an amazing feeling! Most playstation owners had hundreds of copied discs, many of them were just average games with poor graphics

But you asked for an age! Hang on..... hmmm...

I think I was about four...since I remember my brother being in his cot while I played my Gameboy nearby, and he was born when I was four. I also remember being about 3 and watching my mum play Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past.

I've been a Nintendo girl pretty much my whole life :D
