I agree...the problem is in that circuit is not easy over pass...so in the qualification was the key..unfortunately kimi didn't his best time...so the race was defined from the beginning...the only thing is orders was maded from his team..to not put in risk the results...that's is the problem today..politics are more important than the challenge...
regards..
PS..kimi is outstanding fast driver... the problem is that some times the system of qualification is not fair with somes drivers...

A little off topic but there must be some serious Massa haters around here because pretty much every person who gives the man an ounce of credit gets rated down. Back to the question, he made a mistake at silverstone qualifying, and he made a mistake at the turkish grand prix qualifying, both of which more than likely cost him pole position. Massa put in a fantastic lap with no mistakes, and was under as much pressure as Alonso, Hamilton, and Raikkonen, so I'm not too sure about Kimi being better under pressure. Dont get me wrong, I love Kimi, and I feel he was the real champion in 2005 not Alonso, but Massa too is a fantastic driver and I believe he is just as fast as Kimi. And if anyone doesn't like the fact that Massa is a fast driver, deal with it.

Because Massa was in the team before Kimi. So they give Massa better treatment. It is unfair to Kimi!!!

Kimi didn't qualify ahead of Massa. Does that tell you something? Team orders in qualifying? Come on!
Kimi is not the driver everyone thought he would be in Ferrari. I like him more than Massa, but still. That fact doesn't make him a better driver than what he has shown. it's not gonna happen this year. We'll see next year.

Because Massa is Ferrari's #1, even though Kimi is better, IMO

If Kimi was the faster driver, he should qualify higher than Massa and should be able to pass Massa. Kimi is a highly talented driver however I don't think he's a better driver than Massa. Kimi hasn't shown the determination like Hamilton, Alonso, or retired Schumi had, it's like if he's not in first he doesn't push the limits.
I miss the Schumi/Alonso days

You may be right about kimmi being faster than massa but in this particular track, massa has been more sucessfull. Last year he won it and this year he was hyped about coming back. I don't think ferrari made any descisions regarding the position of either driver during the race, team orders have been banned so they would not be allowed to.

Kimi made a small mistake that cost him maybe a second. had he got passed Massa it would have been not problem. the head honchos would rather have 2 cars finish than team mates make contact during a battle and both cars come off the track. personally i think they should be able to fight it out to the chequered flag, but it ain't gonna happen

well because kimi made an mistake in quali that cost him pole position also i think that the ferrari boss todt 'could have told' kimi not to overtake massa because it was massa's first win at turkey grand prix last year and maybe thats why !

Ask yourself this: had Raokkonen and Massa been allowed to fight it out and had crashed, how would that have helped Ferrari in the quest for the Constructor's Championship? Better to get the maximum points than to blow it and get none.
