This works in the US. Probably in London, too.
Every house has to have a building permit. London, however, has many old, really old, houses that may not have such documents.
Look up the London city website and see if they have building permit departments available for public access.
You should know the exact location of your house... not just the street address, but the lot number, and, I guess, more.
This (in the US) you can find on your property tax bill.
I am curious as to why you want this information. Are you in love with this house and want to find out everything about it? Or do you just love architectural history?

Did they do a title search on the property? Call the equivalent of our courthouse here in the US and ask the clerk how to find out. It's a public record, I think.

A title search should trace ownership/prperty to the point of construction. Not all material may be computer-access, though hard-copy volumes would then be available.
