Given the way that education is being dumbed down in the UK I imagine the answer is probably yes!

While it's not exactly considered a university the New York Film Academy (NYFA) does multiple classes that are based here in Los Angeles, and actually use the backlot at Universal Studios for the setting of many of their projects.

It looks like the answer is no. But what do you mean, spends one year in Hollywood? There are darned few univeristies that are worth attending if you want to be an actor. OR do you want to make movies? If the latter, USC OR UCLA

Go to USC [University of Southern California]. It's in L.A. and has a superb film school.
