I'm 41 starting going grey about four years ago have,nt reached for the bottle yet and don't intend to. Hate this assumption among people that once a woman starts going grey she,ll automatically reach for the dye. Its like I'm supposed to strive all my life to look youthful but a man gets to grow older the way god intended.

I can't remember my first strands of grey hair, I was only nine at the time but I would howl every time I passed a mirror when I was a teenager and saw my Mallen Streak getting wider.

Ha ha ha - no grey hairs for me yet, mind you I am only 36 and a natural blonde! My hubby has some grey whiskers in his beard (goatee) and moustache (I did offer to pull them out but he declined), after he realised how painful eyebrow plucking is (no pain barrier these men)
My sisters both have grey hairs but they dye their hair regular, and my brother is going bit grey round his ears, but it looks cool.
Always found it strange that I am the only blonde out of the 4 kids my mum had - Can't remember the milkman now?

Yes, and I did dye and that was yonks ago. Now I believe that I would be entirely grey if I let the colour grow out. You know what, I don't intend to find out, despite the torture and expense of having my hair coloured professionally.

When I first noticed grey hairs in my late twenties I used to stand in front of the mirror pulling them out.
However, once they became more numerous I turned to dying my hair.
However, these day I just cannot be bothered anymore.
Just resigned to my slow descent into my grave!

No.
I just left them where they were and continued as normal.
Stange thing is they did not muliply as fast as my friends who did dye. She is now quite grey when her roots come through and I have a lovely white quiff.
