If in a relationship..what do you miss about being single?

about being single: not having to answer to anyone and you can do whatever you want when you want. The only person at fault is yourself and you are only responsible for yourself.

married: When you argue, there is no place to go. You are stuck. When things are great, they are great, when not you have to deal with it. There is always someone there and you are never lonely, but you also miss your private time sometimes. Marriage can get very routine. Being single, you can change things up as you wish. In marriage, everything is a joint decision from what you eat to what you want to do for entertainment. You determine who's income pays for what and how every dollar will be spent. Holidays are hectic because you then have to decide who you will spend it with and where will you go. One family gets mad if you don't spend it with them, but you can't be in two places at one time.

The dating life sucks also. You have to be so precautious these days and a good guy is hard to find. The older you get, the harder it is. The good ones are taken or they are still single for a reason. Either they are a@@' or they have been divorced and come with a lot of baggage.

There are pros and cons of all sides. It depends on your personality and lifestlye of what you seek in life.

I was single for a very long time, which was fine with me, although sometimes I wondered what it would be like to be in a relationship. When I finally met the right boyfriend, not only did I not miss being single, but I got to experience what it's like to have someone to talk to, someone to hold and confide in etc, etc.. The important thing about our relationship is that because we can trust eachother, we can give eachother freedom. I can hang out with some guy friends and he honestly doesnt get jealous or protective, and vise versa with him. So while most think that being single has its perks when it comes to freedom, technically, being in a relationship shouldnt make you feel tied down either. As long as you find the right guy and can also be loyal in return, you'll be getting the best of both worlds. At least, thats my opinion!

Single and totally happy about it. Because, honestly, whenever I'm in a relationship it never seems right and I miss being single. Things get so uptight, you can't just play around like friends...you have to act differently. It's weird, I prefer being single.

I'm single now..but I miss getting a 5 am phone call every day just to say good morning. I miss cute pet names. I miss PDA and cuddling. I miss not being able to sleep b/c of thinking about him. I miss outrageous phone bill. I miss the butterflies and fireworks. I miss the feeling that someone thought I was something special.

I'm single and I am honestly loving it. There is absolutely nothing I miss about being in a relationship. My last guy didn't want me talking with my guy friends, was constantly calling me and disrespecting my friends, and acting like he loved me. lol he might have but I sure don't/didn't love him. lol I guess if there just HAD to be something I missed it would be him buying me stuff. ha!

I'm single and I miss the being with and sharing things with a SO(significant other). I miss the cuddling and affection.

FREEDOM, in all forms, the right to do what I want, when I want. Going out having fun, being with friends.

But I don't miss the loneliness of being single.
