i would nickname charlotte "lottie"
and i prefer to spell aaliyah "alia" but some people don't know that those are the same, so i just wrote all of them.

summer -- I don't like names that are places or things.
blithe / blythe -- LOVE this, with the y. Sounds old and romantic.
charlotte -- also beautiful.
sophia -- and another beautiful name.
avery -- I don't care for this for a girl because it sounds too masculine.
alia / aliya / aaliyah -- have just never cared for this name, no particular reason.
laila -- so so. reminds me of the song.

i love the names summer, laila, alia and sophia. they are very girly names. if you go with charlotte i would give her the nickname charlie while young because charlotte is a little too grown up for a little kid. Im not too crazy about blithe/blythe or avery. These are some other names i love

I like Blythe.
Jorja Blythe is pretty.

Not a fan of sophia, I know sooo many children with that name.
Avery is ok.
not a fan of alia in any combo.
Laila...makes me think of the Clapton song Layla

Don't name your kid Aaliyah. That's cruel. Laila will incite mockery. Summer is a hippie name, and your kid will come to hate you. Blythe sounds like some sort of weapon.
Sophia and Charlotte are winners. Sophia means 'wisdom,' and Charlotte flows nicely. Which is why such names beat out Blythe and Summer, and many more people are named in such a fashion.

Charlotte and Sophia are the best from this list, because they are classic names. Laila is ok, but I'm not a fan of the rest!

I like all of those names- especially Avery, Sophia, and Blythe because they aren't too common and they seem to flow well with most anything whether you use them as a first or middle name.
