Can I connect the composite video output from my PC to TV scart?

I'm using an Nvida 7300SE with RCA composite out, and when I connect using an RCA=>Scart adaptor (which I know works), I get no picture. It's over a 10 metre cable, and I'm trying to run a monitor over the SVGA connection at the same time. Changing the monitor settings doesn't help. Any ideas out there? Thanks!

Probably have to ENABLE the TV out is display properties, Right click desktop, properties, settings, then look un there.
