Honest answers please. My husband and I would just like some outside opinions on the name.

And thank you to those who answered my first question about the first name :)

Jesse is a fine name, but Gunnar is a little strange, sounds like gunner. I would look for a better middle name.

I like both names

If it flows well with your last name than go for it. It's the 2 syllable names in a row that can make it hard to say.

Jesse is a great name and Gunnar is different with out being embarrassing.

I understand that both names have meanings to you, but the name comes off as being sort of a criminal name. I love Gunnar and Jesse, but please don't use them together :) Good luck and God bless!

Sounds great for a soldier's son, or one who might need the strength of a warrior.

I say go for it. My first name is Donald and my middle name is Paul. I am not sure actually what Paul means but I know that Donald is Conqueror or Chieftain.
