Sure, particularly on the freeway. Even if you are doing 10 miles over the speed limit, everyone passes you by.

Most of the celebs problem was not just speeding--they were speeding under the influence.

Hell YES!!~ The only ticket I ever got was for jaywalking when I was 19. So MANY years later on a Thanksgiving I decided to HURRY....I figured no one was on the road and I was right,....pedal to the metal...I made it in 46 minutes instead of an hour and twenty minutes instead~I figured that if there was anyday to get one, then that would be the day....i guess that all of the cops were at home stuffing their faces & shouting at football on the tube...well NO TICKet...but I have not sped like that since. Never will again.
Great Question.

I think what you are saying is correct. Most people usually speed, mostly when they are in a hurry.

However, your comment on celebrities getting speeding tickets is off base. It's pretty common for all people including celebrities to get speeding tickets. What makes it so bad if the celebrities are speeding and drinking while driving as well. Celebrities should be held just as accountable as regular people when they get caught drinking/using drugs while driving.

Yes I have. Everybody does it every now and than. It is bad though when somebody does it all the time and exceedes it by more than 10 miles. After all the speed limits are there for a reason

i individually have under no circumstances come onto those boards and attacked every physique's strikes, whether i've got agreed or dis-agreed with them. i think of the McCanns have been irresponsible to depart their toddler on my own in a assets at an analogous time as they went away for a meal - no rely how short the gap and that they're going to ought to stay the end results of their strikes. definite there have been activities when I even have exceeded the cost shrink yet this has under no circumstances been on residential roads the place there's an greater probability of entering conflict with pedestrians. fortuitously for me, and others I even have under no circumstances killed or injured every physique. as to if i might come onto here and "slate" myself - the respond is not any, yet in spite of this i do no longer see the McCanns doing that to themselves the two. If I have been to Kill or Injure somebody by using my strikes then i might completely understand others utilising this or the different communicate board to voice their evaluations. definite this is genuine that people do get careless and that they do make errors, and while they do then others will voice their evaluations only as you have by using declaring that people have hypocritical attitudes.

I have. But not when on drugs (alcohol is a drug too).

I've never gone fast enough to be cited or even stopped and warned, and I've been driving for 50 years.

Some times for fun, when I see a cop speeding on the highway, no lights or siren, I'll match speed with them, and if they slow down, I don't. Never been stopped for doing that. My brotherinlaw did the same thing and the cop slowed way down, then came up behind him and pulled him over. He said "Do you know what the speed limit is?" this with those juvenile mirrored, bug-eye dark glasses that cops and drug pushers like so much. My brotherinlaw said "No sir, I thought you did." No ticket.

The worst case of speeding I ever saw was a cop. Standing on his motorcycle and doing about 80, just north of San Jose, Calif. Frustrated circus performer? Probably drunk.

Of course if he was a celebrity, by your reasoning, I shouldn't have called it in.

I just drove for the 1st time today. It was hard to stay on the speed limit and a couple tiems i went over. Its not a big deal, its extremly challenging not to go over once in a while.

I think the better question is have you ever not exceeded the speed limit ... I mean really who drives at the exact speed limit and not a little bit over ...?

I usually go over the speed limit a little, more on the highways of course.

ya what a waist of a question and what pisses me off is that if a celeb gets caught with drugs and/or DUI and they got only 2-3 days of jail time i think that's BS. if i got caught with drugs while driving under the influence I'd be going to jail for couple years.
