yesterday i was helping my boyfriend with some hw on the computer then he left to go get us lunch. while he was gone i decided to then work on my own hw, and went through all the open windows to see what i could close. his email was in one of them. i scrolled down to see if he had kept mine and i saw a couple. well i kept looking for more cause i wanted to read a really old one...then i saw something that said adult friend finder username and password. of course...i clicked on it and signed in. i found out that he upgraded his membership a week before he asked me to marry him last year. and when i casually asked him last night did he ever want just a sexual fling with someone...he said no. then i got it out of him and he said well probably...but not in years. i was shaking so mad because he was LYING. i don't know what to do. please help! we have the perfect relationship. well...so i thought.

What does a private investigator do? They have suspicion and they want to find an answer, they gather the facts...and allow the truth to be known. Does finding out the truth is invading the privacy? or... is catching the fish by the tail?
Privacy is one thing and secrecy is another. In a relationship there should not be secrets of that kind because then trust can't be built.
Obviously, if you know when he updated... then you know what he was looking for ; so, now you know. If you love him confront him and work it out, it's better to speak up and clear things out.
After all, he left the computer open for you to use...
Anyways, it takes two to tango!

It's time to get the freak on.
The fact that he's looking for freak and you didn't know it absolutely screams that you'd rather live in the dream of 'perfect relationship', which are truly rare and few, than deal with the total BF you have.
Perfect is- you know ALL (or have some idea) of the partners needs and preferences. If I have sexual secrets, you're not the 'perfect' partner.
What exactly was he looking for on AFF, do you have the stomach to find out?

shouldn't be reading other people's mail. now you have info you can't do anything about and have damaged the relationship by invading his privacy.
that aside, was this some on-line sex thing? how threatening can that be?
he's a man and most men dream of other sexual encounters that don't include the woman they are with. (key word there: is DREAM)
guess you'll have just have to trust him

well first of all you betrayed his trust. its not right that you read his email. i know its ounds nuts but that is like betraying somone readin mail. no w that you have read this you are furious. so what? it was your fault i would just bury the hatchet and move on it probably means nothing. why dig and get all upset over nothing and start something.

you have a double standard of trust. what you did was pry. nice try about looking for one of your e mails that you wanted to read again. you were looking for somthing and you found it. maybe you should tell him you read his e mail and offer to let him read yours on a regular basis. we all know this wasnt the first time you did this.
