I visited the fair tax site -
http://www.fairtax.org/site/PageServer and it looks like a good plan to me. My question is --Wouldn't it hurt large families because they would lose the tax deduction for their children and they have more expenses than small families?
Some of the GOP presidential candidates are for it.

I agree if it became into written appropriate. There may be a flat deduction for each guy or woman. Dick military, ex Rep. Tx., proposed a $30,000.00 deduction for each taxpayer, regardless of gross earnings. this might have exempted everybody earning $30,000.00 or much less. Any volume exceeding that parent must be taxed. No deductions for the each and all of the perks and hidden reward that are allowed. The Realtors unfavorable this, keeping that we'd lose the deduction for interest on residences. HUH? what share people pay $30,000.00 in interest in line with 3 hundred and sixty 5 days on a private loan, or possibly have that a lot finished deductions? There might whether be payroll deduction, whether the e book protecting must be minimum. IRS might no longer exist. CPAs does not be mandatory for tax returns. no longer yet another Congressman has ever counseled the thought. A flat tax might hit them as properly by using way of reality the wealthy the toughest. end of that concept. national revenues tax might harm the poorest, who might pay no tax or much less earnings tax than a revenues tax might take from them. it would additionally hit those on low, fixed earning, who might probable no longer pay tax, and welfare recipients. The expected revenues tax must be around 20% on purchases.

I am in favor of a national sales tax or an across the board %10 tax. I am a single male and the feds take almost half of my pay every month in taxes.

Less taxes for everyone doesn't add up, especially now Americans are mortgaged to the hilt, up to their necks in debt, from Bush's warmongering

There is no such thing as a "fair" tax. All taxes are unfair. I personally prefer a universal sales tax.
