I want to talk to my friend who has just taken admission there.. he has shifted to NY last week and since then we havent talked and now i HAVE to call him at any situation.. IF I CALL TO ANY OF THE PHONE NUMBER OF THE UNIVERSITY (OFCOURSE IN WORKING HOURS) AND ASK FOR MY FRIEND, WILL THEY TAKE THE PAIN TO INFORM HIM ABOUT MY CALL?? If yes, then on what number i should call and at what time? 6316326000 is the numbr i got 4m their site.. is this the one i shud call on? kindly help.. Thanx He is doing M.S thr in embedded systems..

The number you have is the switchboard number. They will refer you to any department in the University. However, they won't give out any private numbers. If he works in a department of the University, ask for that department and then ask for him.
