Oh yeah, I agree wholeheartedly. It was great in the 80's, I could hear the beginning notes of a song and know right away what the song was and who it was by; nowadays I have to get halfway through the song before I know it (if I bother to know it at all). Music today is just trash, as far as I'm concerned.
Rock on, 80's!!!!!!

I love the 80's! The music then was originaly, unlike today's music. I'm 15 and I hate today's music. I will quote Big Guy 80's "80's music or no music"!

The music of today has more race, hate, and sex issues than the ideas and I don't care for it. I still like 80's music.

Absolutely. It's the current studio system where they purposefully homogenize everything that comes to them to get that "radio sound." With their music editing tools, everything comes out as the same, bland, clone of everything that's already out there.

Hands down -- it lacks something. Creativity, imagination, flavor, culture, you name it. I can't tell the difference between one band and the next. That was hardly true not-too-long ago.
