I think all of this religious pandering to the Big 3, Jew, Christian, and Muslim is counter-productive and dangerous to the entire world and all of it's people.

How about worshiping privately and then when you die you can live in the kingdom of YOUR God and live by his/her rules.

Here on Earth it's all subjective. No one really knows what happens after death. We can have laws and rules without religion.

Nadine: So if someone Jewish kills someone and I criticize that behavior I am anti-Semite?

Nadine: I don't criticize you or any Jewish person because of the fact that you or they are Jewish.
I just don't want to be made to follow laws and societal rules based on the teachings of the Torah, the Quran or the bible.
I don't believe their teachings are based in fact. I think they are interesting stories from history, written by men, not God.

Because many politicians are supported (or are) Jewish. We are taught (at least when I was growing up) that the Jewish race was the ones most effected by the Germans.

That's a fallacy. Whoever wasn't deemed fit for society was eliminated as well.

It won't be long before those who speak out against President Bush will be branded as terrorists. It's all designed to silence people so that this war on terror can go on.

I was brought up as a Christan, I even went to seminary, but, since almost every seminary in America is run and controlled by Jew's and they teach exactly what they want you to believe, in other words they want to brain wash every one who they can, and since Preachers go to seminary they are automatically brain washed into believing Jew's are god's chosen people and no one else counts, oh yes they say the Gentile can be incorporated into the fold if the kiss enough Jewish butt, then the preacher , minister etc, go.s into church and convinces the congregation the Jew's are almighty, and any one who speaks against them is hell bound, and the people are so stupid they won't read the bible and really do any research, they are lazy and will take the leaders word over anyone else, and we all see just how holy most religious leaders are,and many people will automatically cry anti Semitic if you even mention any negativity against the Jew's or Israel, but, if Jesus was a Jew do you think he would have dropped a million cluster bombs in residential neighborhoods to cripple and maim little children??? Israel says it is to keep more suicide bombers from developing, I personally think they could try some good old fashioned humanity for a change that certainly would be a step forward any way, B.T.W. my mother is Jewish, therefore I am to.
Daniel, and some others. why don't you consider being at least half way decent and fair with the Palestinians, I don't like them either but, they are human beings,

Some people just look for some reason to fight with others. People all of a sudden become pious, stand on their soap boxes, and announce to the world the exposition of someone who isn't a frightened conformist, and speaks their mind. I am aware of those who actually DO say mean things about what differences there are between the populations, but for the love of Pete, this world is a big place, we don't live on Pangaea, so there is plenty of space for everyone to live as they please, as long as it does not disturb others. We have spent lifetimes building walls and marking borders, and also lifetimes building bridges. If we can not be accepting of each other, we have to be tolerant, bite the bullet, grin and smile, because as you and I have the right to exist, so too do others. World-wide respect is the only way, abolishing of ignorance and kindness towards one another. The most simple things make a difference, and yet are the most difficult.

Funny you should bring that up Kelly, because I wonder the same thing. Mainly, when people say "Jew", I believe what they mean to say is "Zionist". You make a good point, in that people should worship privately. The problem with being against Israel, is that they have used the excuse that they are "Gods chosen people" to attain the sympathy of the believers.

However, they contradicted their case, when they created a secular state, which has laws that go against any religion, such as abortion rights and gay freedom, things we American liberals fight for, but conservatives are against.

It's all one big contradiction, and I refuse to be afraid of being called "anti-Semitic", when I voice the truth.

Truth be told, Jews are a religion, and a race. I basically do not hold a prejudice against any race. But, when they are being more racist than any other country, by only allowing Jews to emigrate and become citizens, and they are trying to wipe out the Palestinian race thru genocide, than I do have the right to criticize. What Israel is doing is just as bad as Hitler, and no better than Saddam.

"written by men, not God"

What or who says they were'nt written by inspiration of God???

"No one really knows what happens after death"

Since we know Jesus walked the earth, and was conceived by God, into the womb of the virgin Mary, and He taught about --- 'In my Father's House are many mansions, I go to prepare a place for you, if it were not so I would have told you, and If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am there you may be also'

He also said, 'All the cowardly, unbelieving, sexually immoral, idolaters, and all liars shall have their place in the Lake of Fire which burns with Firey Sulphur and Brimstone.'

If you go back into the old testament and correlate the prophecies to the new testament, every last promise came true look it up.

And all the promises of then for today will come true, there will be no second guessing when the end comes.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As far as the Bigotry toward the Christians and Jews, it is unjustified.
The people who seem to have a problem with Christians and Jews are the Muslims, who think they are the only ones on earth who should live, they thing their blood is richer than everyones elses, strapping bombs onto innocent women and children, sending them into the streets to go into buildings and other groups of people.

They chant death to America, and other forms of encouraging violence, and it's not called for.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Friend, the only ones who will know peace and comfort, are the ones who have been born-again through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, and this is for people world-wide, not just Israel or Palestine, or America, or China, or Russia, but everyone the world over, no one Nation by itself is chosen by God, there are sinners in Israel the same as there are multitudes of sinners here in America and abroad, Only those who have had that change of heart who know the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will inheret the riches of Heaven.

God bless!!

Good Question! For the same reasons that people that criticize the government are called unpatriotic. It is a week minded and bush league attempt to deflect from the issue and what might be a hard to answer and valid point, playing the "race card" usually abruptly changes the discussion.

so why dont you keep your secularist ideals to yourself as well? i assume you agree with the soviet ideology that the only family should be government, and that the tradition family is counterproductive to society. feminists think that marriage is legalized rape and slavery of women. they are all leftists as well. the "free sex" movement proposed by the hungarian marxist György Lukács sounds good, until you find out that your 15 year old daughter has be boinked by 50 men already, and spends her free time getting banged by 12 guys in a basement.

oh, but you want to help the poor dont you? and the children as well... i guess then all of this is ok.

It's for the same reason that any criticism of black Americans of slave decent results it a charge of racism. They are debate ending accusations that are intentionally and maliciously used for ill purposes. It is a mental disorder heavily represented in victim psychology - It's the you have to do what I say because I am a victim argument!

Both the black American community of slave decent and the Jewish community that identifies itself with Israel can often use this line of argumentation - albeit a bad one - to get their way in the face of insurmountable reasons opposing their position.

Two possibilities, and they are based on the known about Israel:
1 - they are mostly Jews,
2 - They have elected government, one of the few in that part of the world.

So, since you can't possibly be against elected government, it must be because you are anti-Jew.

The rest of your rant-filled question confirms this, that you despise religion, that you want religion away from you, in spite of the Constitutional guarantee that people can express their religion freely.

So, you're a bigot, you want religion private instead of public, and you would take steps to make that happen.

Kelly, Religious Bigot.

Because the NeandrCons, along with having rejected evolution and not participating in it, believe that by helping Israel kill it's enemies, including Palestinian and Lebanese Christians, they are fulfilling some prophecy and therfore assuring thier own place in Heaven. Just how perverted do you have to be as a Christian to believe killing other Chrisitans will get you to Heaven?

Firstly, perhaps you'd like to actually provide some examples of Jews saying this?

I've never come across this, and I live in a very Jewish area, and have lots of Jewish friends and colleagues.

One of my Jewish friends once said, and I think she sums it up well: "Criticising Israel is not anti-semitic. Criticising ONLY Israel while ignoring the awful things happening in her neighbouring Muslim states is bloody unfair."

I myself have on numerous occasions witnessed people using so-called 'criticism' of Israel as a cover for anti Jewish remarks. They start by discussing Israel but invariably they get their facts wrong and then start being wildly unfair and inaccurate about Israel and her situation.

Personally I am really bored with seeing question after question about Israel with rarely a mention of her positive aspects.

Case in point: almost a thousand Darfur refugees fled through Egypt, and sought help in Israel. Israel has given them new homes etc.

Yet still there are questions and news stories now criticising Israel for not allowing more refugees in! And nobody is criticising Egypt for shooting the refugees - and nobody is asking why the Muslim nations are not helping them!

This is a good example of how Israel comes in for unfair criticism.
