The angle whose sine is - sqrt 2 over 2 is in quadrant 4 and is converted from 45 degrees or pi/4 radians. So just make these negative. As for tan^-1 (-5) it's also in quadrant 4 but not an exact value; find tan^-1 5 and make it negative.

arcsin(-sqrt(2)/2)=225 or 315degrees = 5pi/4 or 7pi/4 radians
arctan (-5) = 101.31 or 281.31 degrees or 1.77 or 4.91 rads
