As long as the satellite was in orbit within 61,500 km of the Moon, the Earth's gravity would not pull it away.

The Apollo astronauts orbited the moon during their visits. They even wrote reports at the rand corporation on how to have a satellite orbit the moon.
Earth would not suck the satellite out of the moons orbit.

Of course it is possible...we already have satellites orbiting the moon.

yes it is. the lunar expidition and landings proved that.the moon has its own gravity and it affects the earth tides
