Confusingly nothing. The 'in' in 'inflammable' is not a negative. Today flammable is more frequently used to avoid confusion which could have tragic results.

Inflammable means "It will burn"

Flammable means "It will burn and i dont have to write the two extra letters....SORTED!!"

Theres no difference really but I think one is used more commonly in the States and one in UK.

Flammable” and “inflammable” both mean “easy to catch on fire”; but so many people misunderstand the term "inflammable" that it’s better to stick with “flammable” in safety warnings.

"Inflammable" comes from "inflame," meaning to catch fire, but usually used meaning "to become very angry."

If you set a flame (lit match) to something that is flammable, it will catch fire. If you do the same to an inflammable substance, it won't catch fire.
