If you only include the time that it has been the Premier League (beginning in 1992), then it's 9. 1992-3, 1993-4, 1995-6, 1996-7, 1998-9, 1999-2000, 2000-1, 2002-3, and 2006-7. If you include the entire history of the "First Division" back to 1888, then it's 16, where you add in 1907-8, 1910-1, 1951-2, 1955-6, 1956-7, 1964-5, and 1966-7.

They have more Premier League titles than anyone, but if you include the First Division history, Liverpool has more at 18, with Arsenal third at 13.
