Yes, quite often. I want things to be so much like the best that I often convince myself it is. That is why I don't describe myself to people :P Because I know a lot of what I would say is more like what I want to be rather than what i actualy am.

If I answer no, which I would have, this could be my own state of denial. I am so much in denial that I don't even realize it.

I think I might be.
I decided that I have an addictive personality and that's why I eat so much and am gaining weight.
I refuse to drink any alcholic drinks, because I know it would be just like eating for me.

I think there is some validity to my ideas, but, maybe I'm just using it as an excuse.

no, i honestly can say that i am not in the state of denial. furthermore, you cant prove that i am. and ...if i was, which im not, i would simply deny it. seriously though, im not.

Sometimes, but logic sucks me back in, and the only way to deal with a problem is to deal with it, ignoring it will not make it go away.
