The communists in China, well they are in China, not here.
McCarthy was right about communism in America. When you look at the political bell curve, in the past 20 years things have shifted quite a bit. The conservatives and the moderates have pretty much stayed where they are and the Democrats seemed to have gone off the deep end of the extreme left, which of course would place them left of liberal and more like socialist.

China is a ommunist country and if our government were against this system they wouldn't do business with a system that murders people. The truth is our government supports communism and that's why there is a communist party in America. We fought on the side of communism during WWII. We have never fought communism on the battlefield. Because this system still controls Europe. Communism did rear it's ugly head on September 11, 2001

Goods are not communism. Here's a little history lesson. McCarthy's "witch-hunt", as you put it, proved to be 100% accurate, after the post-war KGB archives on the subject were declassified in the early 90s. Every name on his list was in the employ of the USSR, as admitted by the communists themselves. That's documented, historic fact.

I have nothing against communism AS LONG as it doesn't spread to my country. This is AMERICA. Land of the free BECAUSE of the brave. This country was founded upon principles of FREEDOM. Not taxing the hell out of citizens in order to pay for social security, welfare, medicare, medicade, and now universal health insurance! Personally I don't care what product is made where, as long as it's top quality at a low price. But keep your communism to yourself! We're about FREEDOM over here!
