I was digging around in my garage (we just moved in) and found a stack of magazines. Several Sports Illistrated from the late 60's, an original program from the 1978 AFC playoffs (browns vs. colts) with a ticket stub and browns roster. 1981 AFC NFC playoff program (browns vs. raiders) and a couple other misc. browns program books from the 70s and 80s. Are these worth anything?

They are worth something, but old items such as those are more valuable when there is original history of the owner behind it.If you can find the original owner, ask him if he would like these things back.I have a feeling he didn't know they were left behind.(the wife probably left them thinking they aren't worth the paper they are printed on.)The sports illustrated probably aren't worth that much because you can retrieve the editions from an archive library. However, you might want to contact Sports Illustrated and ask if their archives go back past 1968.if they don't,then keep them.As for the programs,I'm sure there are family or friends or even the players themselves who would get a kick out of seeing there faces in an old program from those games. You should contact the NFL museum in Canton,Ohio, and ask them If they are interested in the programs. Whatever you decide,if you keep them for value,or prosperity or just don't know, see an antique dealer and get a rough estimate of the worth. There are probably people reading your article right now ,that would be more than happy to take them off your hands for free, but ask them to at least pay the shipping cost first. E-bay might give a good auction price.if you just want to make a fast buck.If you have a heart, find the owner, and ask if he really meant to leave those behind.

Any of the late 60's SI issues feature the Packers by chance? Not sure how much they are worth...but I would be willing to buy it from you.
