She feels sick whenever sh sees anyone ceossing theie fingers and flinches away. Has anyone come across this before? I can't find it on any lists, info would be helpful!

Phobias, by definition, are irrational. The type of response though indicates that she has really frightened herself about this. The best cure is to change our inner dialogue. It's amazing what the mind will conjure up.

What is likely to happen is that the person will cross their fingers and then uncross them. Nothing to fear in that.

Now, i am no way sure if this at all relate to your current situation. I have a friend who has a phobia with people pointing things at his eye. It didn't matter what it was, nor how far it was away. When ever he notice something was pointing towards his eye, he would flinch back, or look away, or ask for it be redirected, or move it himself. This situation seems peculiar to me. I think that the most logical explanation has something in relation to his childhood.

Now the above may not relate to your situaction because she may flinch back out of seeing a human body take a form which she is not use to seeing, maybe for whatever reason, she can not accept the change that she sees. I know that some people show the effects which you discribed when they see blood.
