I have enough trouble believing there is intelligent life on this one.

Yes. can't believe intelligent life happened on just this planet in the whole universe.

Chances are extremely high for intelligent life to exist on other planets, but they're very slim for us to ever see them, being that it would take over 100,000 years (at 25,000 mph)to travel to Alpha Centauri, the nearest star, which doesn't even have a planet orbiting it.

If carbon base life can exist here, it can exist elsewhere to, where the conditions allows
And there's also possibility that these life form may exist much earlier than Earth itself, and so they might be highly evolved to a more advance stage compare to humans

If there were we'd already know about it, and I don't mean conspiracies or rumor mill. I mean for sure. We've spent so many years trying to prove life exists out there in the universe yet we have not come in contact with anybody.

I am sure that there is, the reason that we haven`t yet seen them is, I believe, because we are too primitive. I think they have taken a look at us and decided that we are troublesome war-lovers who can`t get on with each other. As such , they have decided we are not yet ready to join the inter-galactic peoples` society.

It is like they say in Contact. "What a waste of space."
Isn't it easier to believe there is something else out there, than to try and believe there isn't ? We can't be the only ones here. It really would be a waste of space.
