I was born and raised in San francisco, And I have been to Chicago and did not like it , too many people, dirty and noisy.
But my pick would be New York, again dirty, dark, no trees,
expensive to live, people are not friendly. apartments are expensive and small. Do not like cold weather. Too fast pace.
I'm sure there are nice places outside of NY proper.

After living in Lancaster County, PA for 50 years, I have absolutely no desire to ever go back there again. Since our family is all located there, what are the chances of that happening? Life outside of Amishland, USA has opened my eyes to a whole new world of experiences I never even knew existed. Plus, I don't hear the question,"WHY do you want to do THAT?" at all any more! Ahhhhh...

^Most of the cities in Florida, I'm a New Yorker and not only is it hot and humid, the pace is way too slow, they also have some of the biggest bugs I've eve seen. I have nothing against the people themselves, I like the people, it's me I don't know how to slow down and I enjoy fall and winter.

i have a few that come to mind, but only due to the stereotypes we see in movies and on tv. overall, i would be game to go almost anywhere and give it a try so long as i have ample opportunity to leave. cities are like people, they arent loved by everyone and each has its own quirks and traits that attract certain people to them. each person just has to find the city that best meets their needs and makes them feel at home.

You couldn't pay to me live in Nome, Alaska - just too darn cold. Although some people don't consider Nome to be large enough to really be a city (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nome%2C_Alaska for more information on Nome) so I would say my next choice would be Anchorage, Alaska http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anchorage%2C_Alaska Nothing against the city or its people - but that cold - burrr.

Good Luck!!!

You couldn't pay me to live in ANY city or town that was more than 50 miles from the Atlantic or Pacific oceans.

You couldn't pay me to live anywhere south of the state of Virginia or anywhere south of Redding in the state of California.

You couldn't pay me to live anywhere where the churches outnumber the restaurants and night clubs.

You couldn't pay me to live anywhere there is not a diverse population; culturally, ethnically and racially.

And then, of course, there's Texas..........we won't even go there.

New York City because its old, dirty, expensive as hell, and way too crowded. I cannot understand why anyone would want to live there. The streets are bad, there is trash everywhere, and people who live there just get accustomed to it and do not pay any attention.

Even the theaters for Broadway shows I have been to there are run down. There are much better show room in Vegas
