yes it is. When u;d gotten to the state where u can somehow know a person's thoughts and feelings accurately just by what they say, that means u know too much. And knowing too much brings a lot of pain. But sometimes it's not also, it helps to know ur friends better and such. You could be a psychologist.

It is a blessing however as with all things gifts can be used to help or abuse.

If you are finding it difficult to deal with picking up the emotions and feelings of others you need to train yourself or get trained on how to adjust to the reality that it is other peoples not your own and imagining perhaps the on and off switch too.

For instance if you are already feeling sad about something the last thing you want to do is pick up any one else sadness too. In these situations you will need to switch off from this source of information. You can do this just by visualizing turning off the switch.

In fact I would recommend you only turn the switch on if you are actively helping another to heal. Or you are involving yourself with absent healing.

No, not at all. If there is a person who can really pick up on emotions then i would say he or she is the most luckiest person on this earth. We often lose people in our lives just because we don't have the ability to know their intentions or emotions. & thats really sad. I wish i cld read minds of people.
so, definitely its not a curse, its a boon, a gift of nature.

It is a big responsibility. One to be used with respect.

It can be very draining. You have to be careful to have statagies to protect yourself from over sensitivity. It can DRIVE YOU CRAZY at times.

Not an easy deal. Usually you have the gift for a reason, most often healing, but not always. Approach it with RESPECT and caution. If you need more information there are several books that can help you with protection stragies. Do a google search, I am sure you will find the RIGHT ones for you.

No, not a curse. I believe it is simply a more evolved brain. Seems one with a brain who has allowed themselves to be open enough to receive outside signals is very simply BLESSED not cursed. I would assume you are very kind and generous, seeking nothing in exchange for the things you do for others. See I am intuitive too....:) Lucky Blessed Us!

Curse for whom ?
The one who is incredibly intuitive or the subjects of one's incredible intuitiveness.
For the former it is a boon, while for the latter it might act as a curse, most of the times.
My incredible intuitiveness tells me, that you would identify my answer as the best ;-)

A double edged sword. It has advantages if observed and used accordingly a positive. The flip side however, is perhaps you didn't want to know, and the truth hurts.

It's called projection in psychology.

An explanation of the process can usually rule this out.
