Screw delicate!
The sport of volleyball was actually invented by some guy who saw women playing basketball and thought, "Wow, these girls are shoving each other! It's not right!" So he invented a sport where the players wouldn't have to come into any physical contact with each other. Hence, volleyball.
We DO NOT need a softer ball.

There are plenty of women who could spike a medicine ball down someone's throat, then knit delicate silk thread into a scarf without skipping a beat.

They do...I think you want them to make a softer volleyball so that you wont hurt your hands when you play.

I used to play softball and baseball. I'd catch the balls more often with ma bare hand than with my gloved hand, and it didn't hurt at all. We women are stronger than you'd like to think. We're not going to break if you look at us wrong or if you say one negative thing to us. We can take it...
