I leave a pair in my truck because I sometimes leave my house barefoot.
Peace.

GE Mom you and I have kindred hearts. I am a bit more tender now that I am older but when I was younger I could walk across glass, rocks and whatever without any problems. Yup, I have a hard time finding my shoes sometimes and so when I had to go pick something up at my friends house they were laughing their butts off when I showed up with two different shoes on. It runs in the family because my daughter would hide her shoes when she was young and now her daughter does the same thing and shoes are foreign objects. If we were supposed to wear shoes wouldn't we have been born with them? LOL Mmm

A few times I have when I have been in a rush. Once on my way to school I left both my shoes AND socks behind, that was one of the most strangest things I have ever done. But the teacher didn't care that I spent the day barefoot.

Now being 23 sometimes I still do but since I am a flip flop gal who goes barefoot whenever possible it isn't such a big thing for me. Last week it happened I must have had my mind on other things so I went to work in my bare feet, which was very enjoyable. (Of coarse I have been known to forget my flip flops on purpose as well) lol.

No, I go barefoot by choice. I started over ten years ago, and right away I went from always shod to always barefoot. I only take footwear along when it's below freezing, just in case I get stranded somewhere for a long time and get cold feet... but I haven't needed to put them on for the past several winters. I dress up warmly from the ankle up and that's enough even in the snow!
It's not dangerous or gross; feet get very tough very quickly, our skin is made to keep pathogens out, and feet are fully washable.

I do all the time. My kids hate it too - when I was a teenager -my car was my shoe closet because I never wore shoes. My friends would tell me I was going to go to jail for driving without shoes - blah de blah....

Once, I even ran out of the house to go pick up a sick kid with no shoes on - in the snow! Didn't take me long to turn my butt around and go back in and get 'em....

The BEST shoes EVER - Earth Shoes.....I LOVE their sandals and they even have a Vegan line - where no animals/animal products are used....they are sooo comfy - that when I *HAVE* to wear shoes, they're the only ones I wear....

Ha. That happened to me once, while I was in highschool. I had to turn back and get my shoes. I have also gone out with two different sandals on, on accident.
