Usually myself. I'm the only one who listens

Usually when I am in thought I am talking to my inner man. Besides God he in my real best friend. We manage and look after one another. When I go inside myself the only other one I can talk to is God because that's all who are there. All things considered, that's all I need to be there. Hope I did your question justice...take care.

I would speak to the "true me" who is hiding deep inside my heart.

This "true me" won't show his true color easily in front of others in order to protect me from the dark side of the world. The "true me" shall be kept safely in my heart so that he can be free from any troubles, problems, senses, opinions and world.

When I talk to this "true me", he would listen and encouge me, "You have already know the answer, just go for it!"

I talk to my friend in my thoughts who is an inseparable part of me. I also talk to God sometimes but that is not in thoughts, that is on another plane. Yes! I do talk to myself also sometimes.
