She claims to be a descendant of Pocahontas! If this happens they will lose about 300 million dollars that is spent on housing, education, elderly care, jobs and much more? This is in Oklahoma. They already have over 2,000 blacks that they honor from slave days that they took in because the government wouldn't provide for them!

I don't want to see the funding for the Cherokee nation cut off. I hope they can resolve this matter without violence.

I guess people realize these indians were born into the same world as everyone else and they shouldnt be exempted from working just because they are indians. The race card is getting real tired. Let indians get a job and pay for their houses and toys like everyone else. The days of the great white father looking at the indian children is over. I dont know why other indians dont see that this is an insult to them to take money as if they are genetically inferior to whites and cant be expected to stand on their own two feet.

I am real tired of my tax money going to support a whole race of people who are too lazy to work. Talk about milking the system to death.

The Freedmen have been on the rolls for over 100 years. These folks are mixed blood (Cherokee/Black) just like I'm mixed blood (Cherokee/White). I felt it was wrong to remove them after all of this time. I also oppose casino's on ANY reservation etc. I see it all as selling out.

I hope this can all be straightened out and the Freedmen put back onto the rolls. As for the casino's I hope they never get their gaming licenses re-instated.
