Always the last person who did the fix. Nothing lasts forever. Perhaps the fix was just that, a temporary fix over having to buy new struts....and have them installed. Remember what you said and what the mechanic said......

It sound like you are saying you have a leaking transmission cooler line from the radiator. If you had the radiator replaced before then I would have them check it. They might fix it for free. If the problem is a worn out hose or some other part, expect to shell out a few buck to fix the problem. The mechanics can't make everything work fine forever, but they should have tightened everything up when they did the work.

Be very careful with people who tell you your struts are leaking, I have had good friends tel me the tire shop told them their strut was leaking on their fairly new cars. The truth about struts are they do have oil in them and rubber seals that do let some oil get by,however that does not mean your strut is bad by any means. If the car rides fine and it isn't leaving a puddle under the strut or the strut isn't flat I wouldn't worry they do seep oil its there nature.

Engine oil?
Ttransmission fluid?
Brake fluid?
Coolant?
Freon?
Air?
Exhaust?
Gear oil?
Washer fluid?

ADDED:
Personaly. I'd take it back to the place that fixed the leaking tranny line and NOT mention the fact you had the struts replaced. Otherwise they may not repair it under shop warranty free of charge.
Just tell them it started to leak a few days ago and can they re-check it for you.
