Surely less, but wouldn't trolls still make multiple accounts and go on reporting innocent people? Those accounts are nothing dear to them. I say we make some rule like only Level 5 and above people can report abuse while it wasn't anonymous. I wonder why Yahoo! has never thought of blocking the IP addresses of trolls who keep coming back and keep reporting us. Really daft, aren't they?

Probably...I only report disgusting vile stuff...I wouldn't care if the person knew. I think I've reported 2 or 3 people the whole time I've been on. I've learned reporting doesn't do much good...Ignoring them is better. This Q shouldn't have been deleted.

You mean if it was instantly displayed somewhere where everyone could see that *doodlebug* has reported 156 Qs & As today?
Hell yes it would be used less.....I have had questions deleted for no reason - and anyone that thinks that Yahoo will review and revise their decision is delusional....I'm still waiting on ANY response from them from a question they deleted three weeks ago!!!!

no..they would press the report abuse button with another account and enjoy that...trolls are scary

i started to believe there are double standarts because some of the people ask innocent qustions and give innocent answers and they are reported and some people with their questions and answers filled with insults can stay like nothing had happened.

Especially if you had to continue giving a reason and points were deducted for each report if unjustified.

probably, i don't use the button myself, or the thumbs down thing, i'm not on a power trip, if i don't like it, i ignore it.
