I am getting ready for college football next year.
I am a senior in high school and I have played football for 3 years. I wanted to take a year off for school and to train for my freshman year.
I want to be able to make a field goal from at LEAST the 35 yard line.
Any suggestions on training methods?

Hi. Have you kicked for those 3 years of high school football? Main factor in increasing distance in kicking a football is using correct mechanics. Getting your whole body and legs stronger may help a bit - we are talking 5 to 10 % at most...at most!!! If you have good mechanics you will be hitting your near pefect ball most of the time. If you mechanics are shaky the distances of you kicks will be incosistent. I am an NFL punter and a kicking coach. I offer one on one lessons at $100 a session.
