Yes, I am. It really comes from an underground feeling of insecurity which makes me compensate by doing things the best I possibly can. As a result, I come out as being an "efficient" and "strict" co-worker. Some people appreciate my efforts, other find it irritating. My boss, for example, accused me of having OCD because I answered one of his emails within 5min from when he sent it...
I know I have to relax a bit and I am confident that i can do that with the support of the right people around me. Wouldn't you think so? ;)

I am actually less of a perfectionist than anyone I know. The only thing I try being perfect at is when writing or typing words making sure I spell them correctly. Another thing I try not doing is making run on sentences, missing comas, or spaces.

Yes I sure am.
They don't really give me a hard time; I think I give them a hard time for not being perfectionists.

I know this sounds weird but I like to clean. I keep everything from under the stove and refrigerator clean to beds being made everyday. I get a hard time about it because everyone thinks I have a cleaning disorder lol.

Yes I am, but this year I'm being kinder to myself. I lessened my workload and enjoy the simpler things, and it has worked well for me, I'm not that depressed anymore.
Imposing perfection on friends is never good so I enjoy their friendship without expecting them to be striving for it. It's enough that we enjoy each other's company and take care of each other by being our humorous, compassionate selves.
Perfection is great but striving for it relentlessly can make anyone a very sad person. As they say it's always a lonely way to the top. We should try to excel, but not to the point of perfection, and never force anyone to do the same.

Everyone gives me a hard time with this... But I still do what I gotta do...
I will never be perfect, but I will always try to do my best... Is there any other way? Not in my mind there isn't...
