My hated teams are the Lakers, Red Wings, Raiders and Yankees, but my reasoning isn't because it's popular to hate them but because they all play my favorite teams often and I have pretty strong memories attached to the rivalries between these teams and my faves.
That said my most hated team is the Red Wings, as there would never be any circumstance on the planet that would make me ever, even for a single game, want them to win.

I'm gonna have to go with the New Jersey Devils. Being a Ranger fan you would think that it would be the Islanders, but they suck. The Devils are good every year and they play the Rangers a lot and I hate Marty Brodeur. Also they are one of the best teams in hockey and none of their fans go to see them bc they say they play " in the middle of nowhere". Well I would still go see the Rangers if they played in the furthest part of my state. So I guess I hate their spoiled fans too.

This seems like an easy question to answer. The most hated team in all of sports is the New York Yankees!! Hands Down. It is an easy answer because they have won so many World Series that almost every other team has lost to them. That makes a lot of bitter fans from other franchises. People hate them also because they spend the money to win. People also hate them because they are just jealous their team doesn't win as much. Hands down I believe it is the Yankees. Everywhere you go it is a common concensus that the Yankees are hated.
There are plenty of other teams that are hated due to rivalries, but very few of them cross the entire country. People in every state hate the Yankees, but how often are you going to find someone from Washington or Hawaii that hates the Red Wings??? Not very often because they don't even have the NHL in those states. Not to say every state has a baseball team, but at least they all watch America's Favorite Pastime, Baseball!!

No, I hate the Cubs the most, then the Twins, then the Red Wings, then the Packers so I guess I hate two teams from baseball before I hate teams from any other sport. I'm a White Sox, Blackhawks, Bears fan btw.

I hate the Steelers, and its a deep hatred. I not only hate the team, but I hate the fans, and the city. Its really hard to hate the city, as I am a fan of the Penguins, and the Pirates. I disliked the Steelers after they beat the Harbaugh led Colts in the AFC championship game, but once I moved to Pittsburgh I learned to hate the team, and its fans. Fans were complete idiots in most cases, and couldnt actually hold an intelligent conversation about their team. They lived in the past, couldnt take criticism without wanting to fight, and were short sighted fools. I still to this day hate Pittsburgh.

I dislike
Yankees AND Red Sox - and the way the media tends to think of them as the only baseball teams of interest
Lakers - enjoying there current 'down' period
Raiders, Redskins and Cowboys - for various reasons
Red Wings and Canadiens - probably for their success
Chivas USA - they really should change their uniforms to a red shirt with a single white diagonal stripe - like the diving flag - to represent their propensity for "diving" on the field

I would say the infamous Black Sox, ie. Chicago White Sox of the 1919 World Series.
Pretty much the whole team got caught throwing matches and caused a big scandal. There's even a movie about the scandal.
Or would they just be the most despised?

Because I am a Yankees' fan, it has to be the Red Sox. My heart was broken when they had the local minor league team.
After that come the Dallas Cowboys, just because. I actually liked them when Tom Landry was there, too.

My most hated team in baseball is Chicago Cubs. Partly because they are St. Louis Cardinals' main rivals (I'm a Cards fan :D). And also because they stink. Yes they are doing better this year, but what about all those years before? They are still a very weak team.

Oklahoma University- dont want to offend anyone but i dont like OU because i am a Longhorn. Hook 'Em!!! (and this is college football. i dont usually keep up w/ college baseball or basketball) OU is a rival and like you and the red wings, i would never hope for them to win. even if they were playing the aggies. so that's why i dont like them. HOOK 'EM HORNS!!!!!!!
