No I don't anymore as it means that I'm not going to have loads of junk mailed dropping through my letter box.

I also love to get letters and sending them. I think this important as the art of letter writing is fast becoming a dying one. However I compensate by sending emails to my nearest and dearest as if I were writing a letter.

I never rely on Royal Mail to deliver these days. However, though I do have a great postie and even he is sick the way Royal Mail is going but he does his best to deliver on time when he is allowed.

What also annoys me is the way RM keep changing thec ollections times you can never tell from one months to the next when is the right time as they cover their backside now by not changing the times on the box but just leave it at 5.30pm collection times...theis way they cannot be held responsible for guaranting next day delivery for first class mail.

It's quite ironic really, most people like you and me love getting a letter, however we tend to view emails as as an intrusion and find it a chore to answer them. Pehaps it's the personal touch, that fact that someone has thought about us, taken the trouble to write and post the letter and the fact that it is delivered to our door by a human being.

My two Jack Russell dogs HATE the mailman. It's a circus everytime one walks by.

is not the post man's fault that he is passing over your door because you havent received any letters.
