Miracle, FREE remedy for Cat urine odor that should also work for your son's "accident."
is the hydrogen peroxide (everyday, drug store kind)...mixed with baking soda .... just put it in an internet search engine to find the ratios. You must use it immediately as it foams & will burst out of a plastic bottle....
This REALLY works great. I sprayed in ONCE on a couch that had been outside on a carport for Months at my sister's house--she lives beside a CRAZY CAT LADY who has 10 cats who have taken over her house! & yard... it worked after the FIRST SPRAY!
I have tried vinegar & baking soda, airing in bright sunshine, febreeze, etc. Nothing worked but this.

We have a similar problem with one of our dog's from time to time ;-). Use a non-biological laundry liquid to wash over the area. This tip came from my mum, who worked as a cleaner for many years and it works for me.

NOTHING really works completely despite what they say.....have HIM clean it up quickly ......and over and over again for an hour or so with Dawn......then rinse over and over and over until clear......let dry and use a fan.....then spread carpet deodorizer, let sit for 1/2 hour...and then HE can vacuum it up......good luck with your bigger problem
