As long as you drive it for at least 1 hour once a week to recharge the battery and burn off the water condensation etc that can build up, I think you'll be ok. But a car has to be driven hard regularly to keep it healthy in my opinion.

I have a truck with a 383 stroker
Come late fall I will "PARK" it for the entire winter.
There is a lot of work to prep a vehicle for winter storage.
As far as letting it sit for a couple weeks, yea - no problem, just disconnect the red wire from the battery.
That way all the electronics are not pulling from the battery.

Letting it sit for short periods of time won't hurt it. I would take it out for a spin at least one a month to charge the battery and let the lube in the engine and transmission to lube the upper parts of each. If the garage is damp I would take it out a little more often.

No, I have a newer car that sits all week while I ride the bus. Sometimes it goes almost 2 weeks. It is just fine. I have owned it for 3 years.

Three or four days is not a problem. If you leave your car more often than what you described, you may find yourself buying batteries more often if you don't allow your battery to charge itself up enough. If you are using an alarm, clock, etc. there is always a draw on your electrical system. You may want to Invest in a small battery tender such as this
http://www.batterytender.com/
Great unit and will keep your electrical system up.

Jay Leno owns 50 odd cars and nearly as many motor bikes. He's a busy man and probably doesn't drive each of them every week.
Jay knows and loves his collection and wouldn't do anything to hurt those cars.

Any car can sit. The real question, is can you teach it to roll over or fetch?

Not as long as it is cranked up and driven down the street..It is bad on a vehicle to sit..They last longer and have fewer problems if driven rather than sitting...

Not a problem. Don't let it sit for more than a month.
