I detest apologies that are insincere. Like the ones that go, "I'm sorry you feel that way" that's not an apology! That's pity toward the person that was hurt. I take responsibility for my actions! If I must apologize and get clobbered for it, so be it. Let me make an short example, I joined a group for a short time called the "troll patrol" and found they were as bad as the people they were trying to remove. Now since I quit, I get bashed by individuals who I apologized to for joining this group. Some say Ahhhh It's O.K. you've learned your lesson, others, are not so forgiving. But, it's not up to me to make them forgive me, I just need to ask for this forgiveness with sincerity! If they want to harass me or block me or report me, then I am just getting the justice I deserve, Never Join Anyone Here!!!!

It has more or less become a part of our mannerism and gets said without either thinking or meaning it or both. It's only when some one says sorry repeatedly and is matched by his expressions and body language,it may be some what nearer to it's really meaning so.The remaining part of being really sorry has to follow in to his subsequent actions.

Latter. Sorry, Im a very non confrontational person and usually i have to apologize to clear the air when someone is mad at me for no apparent reason... i hate ppl that blow things out of proportion.

Well, when I bump into strangers, I definitely *don't* mean it.
Other times, I generally do.
