My research shows that most will join the Green party or the Libertarian party.
Anywhere is fine as they stay away from the Democratic party.
No need to mess it up too.

Republicians that are true Republicans will not jump ship. Only the Lib's and Dems do that.

No need to mess up the Democrat party alright, they've messed it up quite enough already! I can't speak for all former-Republicans but I've joined the Green Party myself. This just might be their year. As for changing parties, Lincoln himself did it when he went from Whig to Republican. At the time, the Republican party was a political upstart with virtually no support, very much like the Green party is now! So who knows what the future holds? But one thing is absolutely certain, the Democrats will always be the most dysfunctional bunch of f*ck-ups in politics!

This is one of the most asinine statements I have run across in this campaign yet, and there have been a lot of them!

The "research" for this must have been totally in the poster's mind! It figures that a Democrat would come up with this nonsense!

Republicans joining the green party?

When hell sprouts daisies.

I think you kid yourselves. In the end, they'll throw behind fred thompson, who will choose Giuliani as a running mate.

Then Rudy will rule the country, as Cheney does now. That set-up has been inplace since Bush 1 directed the Reagan 'pressidentity'.

Unless Ron Paul gets the nomination the Republican Party will become the Neo Con party. If he does you can expect the Neo Con's to jump ship and state turning the Democrat party into the fascist party.

I never have given it a thought.
I am an Ex Dem who intends to stay exactly the way I am. You don't abandon something you believe in even though at times it may be a little difficult. The basic values remain.

The opposite is true, since Democrats are more divided than Republicans.

This Republican is staying right where she is. Why would I want to belong to a socialist group? I love and support my country, that millions have fought and given their blood to protect. One should never slide backwards and the democrat party is on a free fall into the abyss of socialism.

When you talk about Republicans you have to talk about regions. Deep south republicans are different than California republicans. And Kansas republicans are different than Ohio republicans. It's the same party, but different needs and values.
