Use parts would be great but don't know if I am getting rooked? How much should this cost used and installed?

Commercially rebuilt seems to be around the $800 mark from what I have been able to find. Even a rebuild kit is $350. Ebay Motors and craigslist had some for $175-$350.
Mo idea what they cost to install, it's a simple job if you have the lift and transmission stand and all that, but hard to do under the truck in your back yard.
