Hey Man, I was Reading Jamie Campbells Blog the Other day and was wondering if our johnny Mac Could Actually win a gold glove but he said its Very hard!

At First i said, wth, this guy is a highlight reel every single night! but to win a gold glove, u not only have to be good with the glove but you have to have an extremely good Batting AVG. and our Johnny Mac Really will never be a good hitter!

I Think Macdonald is Much Better than Jeter Defensively but no way offensively so that tells you why Jeter is more Capable of winning a Gold Glove that johnny! I Think that a stupid rule because what does being the best defesman have to do with hitting, i think that if you are great defesivly, then you should be able to win an award for and Johnny Mac really deserves it!!!

GO JAYS GO!!! Wild Card Spot this year Will Be terribly hard, maybe next year with our full roster and hopefully no injuries!

BTW, thanks for Asking this in the Hockey Section, saves me time going to the base ball section lol!

I am sorry but no. Orlando Cabrera has the best fielding percentage of any AL Shortstop and has played plenty of games to be in contention of winning the Gold Glove. That's good enough for me!

I'm very impressed with Johnny Mac's skills. Will he win over guys like Jeter hard to say.
BTW - shouldn't you ask this in the baseball section.

Who cares? This is the HOCKEY section! Yahoo probably landed you here because of the word "Toronto" in your link, but maybe you should spend less time watching baseball and more time learning to read so next time you'll realize this fact and change it before we have to answer a question about the most boring sport in the known universe. This would never happen during the regular season. FRICKEN DROP THE PUCK ALREADY!

#1 - Jeter WILL win it.

#2 - You don't see us puckheads asking for Vezina predictions in the baseball section.

#3 - Drop the puck and throw away the ball already!

On behalf of all of Toronto, this man does not represent how stupid the city is. Oh, who am I kidding? Only about 100,000 people in this cesspool of a city are good, smart, and decent human beings. Yes, this man DOES represent how stupid Toronto is. Remember, kids, like drugs, say "no" to Toronto.

Go Leafs.

I agree with you that Jeter is not deserving of the gold glove. However, the gold glove is awarded based on reputation and not skill. That's the reason people win it so many times consecutively. Jeter will win it until the end of his career probably.

I would be utterly shocked if he didnt. I'm going to a game september 7th against the jays (tigers vs jays)... i cant wait to see him play.

But I think he won't because offensive numbers (although they shouldnt) have a say who wins the gold glove.

This is an excellent question.

For the baseball section.

But, yes. Too bad he won't.
