Ron is making waves all over the boards in almost every sector of the country -- it is a "grassroots" thing -- it is very real -- and it is bound to make some people from the "status quo" begin to feel more than just a little nervous at this point !!
Our "unbiased media" is learning a couple of new things in all of this too --- one being, that not everyone is TIED to THEIR opinions and slants now -- and that a new era has arrived where THEIR results and statements and the way they conduct themselves IN election coverage, ect .--- can be EASILY checked by almost anyone these days that has the computer savvy of a ten year old !!!!

If those results accurately represent public opinion that would be very good news, but not quite as good as one might think. If Ron Paul is the only good candidate (and I agree he is the best) and he got less than 40% of the vote, that means most of the voters want someone else. Ron Paul 40% vs "Other" 60% is not an indication that Ron Paul is way ahead if "Other" is very different from Ron Paul. The 2nd or 3rd place finisher would have to be a lot like Ron Paul for that result to indicate he could win a majority once the field thins out. If the others are more like each other and a lot less like Ron Paul the results would indicate that Ron Paul will lose once the field thins out to just one other candidate.
But then, I doubt those polls are as representative of public opinion as I wish they were.

Can the people out there start to realize that our media is lying and we have to get mad as hell. Ron Paul is what America wants and it has been show very clearly in the 3 debates he won by landslides. Even Abc couldnt deny the 63,000 people that voted online at their own website Ron got 42,000 of the votes. Then the next morning ABC reported that Mitt Romney won. We are being completely lied to. DO not believe the media. Ron Paul is the greatest politician in over 200 years. Honest and integrity unsurpassed by any.

Go RON!!!!! Don't forget he recorded some serious landslide victories in New Hampshire and Alabama. And people call him a second or third tier candidate. And I bet if we don't have the already hacked electronic voting machines, we might be able to see the good doctor make it to the white house. If not, lock & load.

Exit polls are totally irrelevant. The Iowa straw poll is totally irrelevant. No question posted on this site is going to influence anyone to support Ron Paul.

its from freemarket news, anyone can post an article there that wants to. romney was at like 40% a week or two ago, and now 10%??? And i think I Ron was around 5-10% about that same time. And i live in Iowa so ive seen a lot of local polls and trust me, i dont think many people here like ron paul. you see romney signs in every other yard, i dont think ive seen a single ron paul sign. from the debate a couple weeks ago and talking to others i think the mainstream numbers are pretty accurate. i have a feeling your numbers arent very reliable...

It really looks like something fishy in Iowa.
Here is a link that noone have posted yet:
http://www.ronpaul2008.com/straw-poll-results/
I did some calculations on all the polls in this survey.
The Good Doctor scored 25.59%.
Check it out,,,,he looks like a sure winner in New Hampshire. {a strong Libertarian state.}
