Because he's arrogant, and if you look at his club, no wonder.. over two decades there and some pretty good results. Man U is also arguably one of the single most famous and well-known clubs out there... And home to two of players considered to be the world's best: Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney. Fergie probably misinterprets this as the "best" club in the world, therefore, he assumes his word is always correct. Period. Irritating, isn't it?

Seems your question is a statement which u already believe to be right, but il answer anyway.
Sir Alex didnt get to where he is now just by chance, he is a supremely talented person just like any other manager. However, he has had the success he has had because he is simply extremely good at what he does and people respect him for that. He has a wide network of friends in the managerial circle, and has also spawned a lot of talented managers. I dont see that with any other manager alive today. Yes, he does make mistakes, but all managers do, as do many humans. Such is life

its all amateur psychology, he tries to outwit his rivals by playing mind games its so transparent. as ia liverpool fan his recent tirade against rafa benitez was quite flattering as he is obviously worried about our team being a serious contender this year.
