Get a big trash bag and throw everything out. If the stuff you have is thrown about, do you really want it. As for the clothes, naked is better so get rid of them.

When cleaning a room, I would start by doing one thing and one area at a time, otherwise you will begin to feel overwhelmed. I usually start by getting a bag, and picking up all the trash first- everything that needs to thrown away. I would say that the next step should be to pick up all the clothes, since you say that you have alot of them. Then, when that's all out of the way, I usually pick one specific area to start on first. In that area, I begin to put the things in that area that BELONG in that area, where they go. If something doesn't belong in that area, I put it in a pile specifically for the area that it belongs to. For example: if I am cleaning the garage- I may start by the book shelf. I organize it back the way it is supposed to be- but at the same time, I may find toys or books in that area that go in the kid's room, or cups that belong in the kitchen, etc. So I make a pile for things that go in the kid's room, a pile of things that go in the kitchen, the computer room, etc., to take there later. Then I move to the next area, and do the same. When each area is organized, all I am left with is piles of things that belong in other rooms. So I combine all the piles together that go into the same room- and take them there and put those things away. The final step would be sweeping or vacuuming. In no time- you have a completely clean room. It's the fastest way I have found to get the most effective cleaning done. With five kids and a husband- I have alot of experience in that area- lol. :) But whatever works best for you. After the room is clean- the easiest part should be keeping it that way. Vow to put things up where they go from now on, vacuum once a day or every other day, if you see something beginning to clutter, get it organized the minute you notice it. And stick to your word on that. You will probably feel so much better in a clean and organized environment, and that feeling will keep you motivated to keep it that way. :) Good luck! :)

Take a deep breath, and do a little at a time. Set a timer for 15 minutes and go like mad tidying what you can - start with the bed and change the sheets, make it, pick up all the dirty clothes and chuck in your laundry basket. Hang up clean clothes. Every 15 mins, give yourself a 10 minute break. Also, do it to loud music to give yourself motivation to move. Do the 15 minutes for 4 separate periods per time every day and soon your room will be sparkling. When it's finally tidy, make sure you have enough room for all your stuff and make sure you put everything away every time you use it. Good luck!

Start with the clothes and go from there. I started on my room and I had shoes all over the place and I got them put up and now I am going to pick up a few more things and vacuum. After that, I am going to dust and put everything in order. Just concentrate on one thing at a time. Quit dreading it. It's really not as bad as you think once you get started.

sounds like it's not a matter of cleaning your room, but a matter of attitude, in that you have to learn (teach yourself) to put things away while you still have your hands on them.
Figure out what the problem is first...is it that you don't have a hamper in your room? or don't have enough hangers, or the hangers aren't plastic so they get tangled in the closet? or maybe you don't have enough drawers to put them in, or the shelf at the top of the closet is too high for you to reach, or maybe you don't have enough storage boxes in there. Whatever your'e missing ....find it, supply it to the room, get what you need. Then begin training yourself.
If you need file folders, or decorative plastic boxes with lids, or a corner where you can stack and label boxes then make sure you get those. Then once a week you need to clean your room...put things in boxes and hang things up, then run the vacuum, make the bed and clean the windows.

If you can't face the thought of doing it all at once, just aim to do a bit each day, even if it's ony ten minutes.
If you have clothes everywhere, maybe get something you can put them in, even a laundry bin or something, so they're at least in that and not all voer the floor.

Sometimes I just stuff it all in the closet and forget about it. Everytime I actually clean, stuff's all the over place again within two weeks.

initiate out by making piles toss, shop and donate. Then elect what you are able to stay without, and merchandise by merchandise bypass by way of and bodily touch each and each merchandise and ask while did i take advantage of this or choose this final? If it is been over 6months then you certainly dont choose it and its in basic terms muddle. Get a reliable closet organizer and attempt to stay existence with in basic terms your basic products. Its no longer a bad factor of have alot of things on your existence in spite of the indisputable fact that it does make it extra durable to maintain issues tidy. reliable luck.

Shove it all under the bed. J/K, if you can, clean it up a little every day instead of tackling it all at once. But if you have to do it ASAP, try to clean as quickly as possible and you'll be done in no time.

get it clean is the original pain, just get stuck into it. When it is clean, to keep it that way, pick up before you go to bed every night, All that is needed then is a dust and a vac
good luck :)
