My sister just called me--her husband is leaving her for another woman. She is devastated and is very upset. Have anyone ever cheated on you? If so, how did you find out? Did you ever take him/her back? I hear alot about people cheating on their significant others, and I was wondering what y'all had to say about it.

Yes I have been cheated on, but I didn't always know about it until after the breakup.

LOL...Have I ever been cheated on? My current boyfriend has cheated 9-10 times (that I know of) in 4 years. I left my ex-husband after he cheated on me for the 4th time. I find out in texts and e-mails or just by the suspicious behavior. I generally will deal with it for awhile and then get pissed enough to end it. For some reason I have not had the strength to do that YET in this relationship. Maybe because I am 42 am tired of looking for Mr. Right.

Yes, I have been cheated on and I am still with the person who cheated. He has begged for forgiveness and we have had in-depth conversations about everything that happened and why. I struggle every day with what should I do. On one hand, I want to forgive him because I know everyone makes mistakes, we are not perfect humans and if I messed up, I would want a second chance. On the other hand, will he do it again? Should I leave and eventually meet someone that will treat me the way I deserve to be treated? Am I giving up dignity and self-respect to stay with someone who has lied and cheated? It is a tough call.

My ex boyfriend cheated on me with a younger girl. He also got her pregnant. I found out because on his birthday, I arrived to his home to give him his presents and she was there. It hurts a lot. This experience devastated me, so for now be supportive to your sister because she will need you.

Now, more than a year has passed and I have talked with him again. Not with any romantic interest, it's just that I have forgiven. Everything goes away eventually. But you have to let time heal your wounds.

My ex cheated. I feel like I'm a failure. Not because she cheated, but because her cheating has created an unfulfilled debt, that I am powerless to resolve. The only way I can settle the debt is to kill her, but since she is the mother of my children, I can't kill her. So, I live with her getting away with hurting me and my children deliberately. Even after all these years, not a day goes by without the urge to see her through a rifle scope. If both my children were to die, their mother would die before another day passed..

I had a boyfriend on and off about 2 years and he was going through alot of stuff emotionally and told me out of the blue one day that he was moving to GA for al ittle bit to get himself together but we were gonna stay together. i hadnt heard from him in a few days and I was concerned, well i know his ex and I just had this eerrrry feeling so i called her( I live in NJ the ex lives in Minnesota) and she tells me he just left her and was moving to canada to marry another girl! I was devasted when i found this out, he wouldnt talk to me for over a month. It killed my trust in men and in love so badly. Now he has moved back to NJ cause things didnt work out with miss canada, so now he is trying to get back with me but i could never do that to myself again. I would constantly be wondering if he was cheating on me when he didnt answrer his phone or whatever, ya know

How sad for her. Yes I have been through that many times. It is extremely painful. In most cases I took the person back only for it to happen again. Chances are that his new relationship will not work. Rebounds generally don't. Tell her to keep her dignity and focus on herself and do all she can to talk about it to others and pamper herself.

My husband cheated on me. I trusted him, but became suspicious after many years of marriage. I found out during our divorce that he had cheated and was very angry. Cheating is a pretty shabby way to treat your partner, whether you're married or not.

My ex is happily involved with our former babysitter. The difference between me and your sister is he and I both knew our marriage was over before he got involved with her.
My advice to your sister is she deserves better. In time she will move on with her life, but if she lets this destroy her, he's won. She needs to take some time to adjust and move on. The best way for her to get "revenge" is to move on with her life and be happy. She's alredy got something alot of people who go through this don't. The support of family memebrs who care about her. She'll get through it, all you can do is be there when she needs you to. And trust me, she'll need you.
