It's hard to call a 5 time champion a sleeper but I think the Steelers are going to be in the mix again this year. A lot of people are looking right by them.
Last year's disappointment was a fluke due to Roethlisberger insulting a voodoo prince or something.

I would say ARIZONA or DETROIT. I like San Frans chances of doing well, but in the true spirit of a sleeper, DET or ARZ have done nothing for decades. San Fran was winning in the last 20 years. ARZ has won 1 playoff game since 1947, and DET is a perennial dog also.
Of the two I think that ARIZONA will do better as they have a very good offense, as does DETROIT, but Leinart is better than Kitna. I know MARTZ has a way with making offenses good, but I like the Cardinals chances of doing something special more than Detroit's chances.

I'm with you on the Lions. They have all the weapons, and I think they're actually better off with Tatum Bell as running back. Some say he's too small to be a featured back, but he's actually a little bigger than some guy named Marshall Faulk, who did OK in Mike Martz' offense.
I'm not saying that Tatum is as good, just saying he will post a decent year, statswise. Kevin Jones is out for at least 6 games, and my guess is IF he comes back, he will have lost his job.
With Calvin Johnson to stretch the field, Williams and Furrey should do well inside, as Kitna is pretty accurate, especially on crossing routes and post-corners.
The defense took a blow losing Dre Bly, though. That worries me a little.

I will be the Arizona Cardnals because they now have the best coaching staff in the NFC ( former Steelers). Not to mention there is not a good team in the NFC. Infact im willing to bet that USC (college team) could prolly beat all of the teams in the NFC.

either the Cardinals or the Niners. Cards have a very good offense and the defense got better, and the Niners did just add the second best corner in the NFL to help improve their secondary

Despite Matt Millen, I like the Lions also. After that then I look for the 49ers.
