Omg what a joke! This is something that will have a massive effect on the rest of his life and he didn't even do anything wrong. These so called 'celebs' seem to be above and beyond the law that the rest of us mere mortals have to abide by. Nobody should not be shown any favours because of who they, how much money they have in the bank and how often they have their faces in magazines!

Thanks to beurocracy the court has just totally ruined this young man's life. How will he be able to get a decent job with "Sex Offender" on his permanent record.?
The law truly is an ***. If the President had still been Bill Clinton I would have to take the case to him & ask him to use his influence over this. However, since there is nothing in this for George bush it would be a waste of time. Everyone knows if it doesn't means mega bucks or oil then his administration do not care.
I feel truly sorry for the guy & his family. However, surely more could have been done by his defence team if the girl in question stated that she was not drunk & had been having relations with practically everyone at the party. What healthy young man is going to say no to sex when offered it on a plate like that?

From that it would appear very corrupt. If it is any consolation, the British law isn't much better. We have many celebrities here that are known drug addicts but they are never jailed - arrested but nothing ever comes of it.
We have a massive yob and gang culture in the UK - the criminals are mostly aged under 16 - shooting and stabbing innocent people to death - they never serve time. They are under age and they know it. In fact, we have actually run out of prison places in the UK so very few actually end up in prison. You can murder someone in the UK and get a couple of years inside.

In the last 10 years, our values and morals have went out of the window. I don't know if the reason is I'm getting older, but I see more corruption today than ever. Today it's all about greed, envy, and the power of the privileged.

I think it is tragic that these "stars" recieve such light sentences. However, Iam consoled in my belief that their sentences after this life will be extreme. These stars cannot fall from heaven, as they have no clue where it is.

There will be a true day of justice and judgment coming, and it wont be by any human court. Believe it or not. The rich and famous have always been favored. Money and fame will get you out of almost anything.

What I read is very disturbing.
In America you seem to have different laws in
different states. This does not make sense to
me. Surely one country, one set of laws.
It's like saying here in England, what could be a
couple of months for an offence in Suffolk, could be five years in jail in Norfolk.
Sorry to say this, but your country needs to get
a grip.

One law for the rich & Famous, and another for the rest of us.
Its like the only place you can now smoke in a bar is the house of commons bar, the very place where the ban came from.
